While the World LNG Summit and Awards is taking place in Greece, activists from APMDD, Philippine Movement for Climate Justice, Sanlakas, and Oriang stage the “Yakee Awards” for Asia’s Dirtiest Companies, top financiers of coal and gas in Asia. The action was held in front of the headquarters of San Miguel Corporation, one of the “awardees.” While the planet is burning, it is outrageous that these corporations are giving awards to each other! Hence our very own Yakee Awards for Asia’s Dirtiest Companies.
