16th August 2012, Colombo – Today, the Centre for Science and Environment, a leading environmental organisation in India released the report entitled "Environmental contamination and its association with Chronic Kidney Disease of Unknown Etiology in North Central Region of Sri Lanka".
Colombo – Sri Lankan Civil Society Organisations today issued a CSO Statement on Rio+20 prepared through a dialogue held on 17-18th May 2012 in Negombo, Sri Lanka. Over 40 CSO groups participated in the dialogue and the statement was signed by over 60 CSOs engaged in various social work.
