This briefer is a guide on how peoples and communities of the Global South can examine funding proposals and projects approved by the GCF. The guide also shares the climate justice principles that we must always uphold so that GCF projects are effective in addressing the worsening impacts of the climate crisis, and not just another way for Global North governments to pass on the burden of financing climate action to the Global South.
