“We come here for one purpose, we want to save our people and planet from climate catastrophe, because we are here for our people. I do not understand why we have to explain why we are talking about Palestine, isn’t this also about people. How can we talk about saving humanity from climate change when we are not going to talk about saving people from one of the most atrocious wars against humanity that has ever taken place on our planet… We are here not just to express our solidarity but to say this is our common fight.”
