At the Asia-Pacific Climate Change Adaptation Forum held during the #BKKCAW2025, Gov. Noel Rosal discussed the role of the local government in catalyzing the acceleration of RE development through a subnational approach.

PMCJ’s RE lead, Edwin Tesaluna, underscored the vital role of CSOs in supporting LGUs and the RE industry in developing frameworks and safeguards to ensure that RE development is grounded on principles of equity and justice.

Albay Governor Noel Rosal and Legazpi former Mayor Carmen Rosal, Albay Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Albay RE Alliance, together with PMCJ and other CSOs emphasized the urgency in driving climate action through the advancement of renewables.
